Paper Piecing - Pineapple Block
 

Description:

The pineapple quilt block is a great scrappy quilt.  You can make a lot of great secondary designs and use alternate light and dark colors to make some outstanding designs. 

 

For this class we will be using Benartex’s Foundation by the Yard Pineapple Pattern.

• Sewing the Pineapple Block

• Open Sew

• Wrap-up with Tips and Tricks

 

Class Length:  4 hours

 

Skill Level: Beginning / Intermediate

 

Student Fees (to be paid upon completion of class):

• $20/per student - Includes the cost of the class and (1) package of Foundation by the Yard.  Students are required to bring sewing machine, thread/bobbins/needles, fabric for project, any other notions.

• $30/per student - Includes the cost of the class, (1) package of Foundation by the Yard and Sewing Machine Rental.  Student will need to bring required fabric for project and any other notions.

 

Classroom will have the following provided free of charge:

• Cutting mats and rotary cutters

• Light boards

• Ironing board and Iron
