Paper Piecing - Pineapple Block
 

Description:

The pineapple quilt block is a great scrappy quilt.  You can make a lot of great secondary designs and use alternate light and dark colors to make some outstanding designs. During this beginning Paper Piecing class we will learn how to sew the Pineapple block.

 

For this class we will be using Benartex’s Foundation by the Yard Pineapple Pattern.

Class Agenda:

• Overview of Paper Piecing Basics

• We will sew (2) blocks and learn how to join these blocks (all fabric will be pre-cut for students.

• We will review how to use these techniques to create a lap sized quilt (class fee includes the pattern to make this larger project)

• Wrap-up with Tips and Tricks
